The media reported that the reason for appealing to the Soviet court in Omsk was the amateur 29-minute film "Tovarishch", which Matvienko created with his friend and colleague. In the video, two factory workers talk about their hard life and share dreams with each other: about flights to space, a trip to America and sexual relations with celebrities, including Britney Spears.
In a statement that was filed by lawyers Britney, in particular, reads:

It turns out that the film was not the only thing. Mr. Matviyenko sent several letters with threats to Miss Spears, and a link to his "movie masterpiece". He claims to have contacted other Western stars (Shakira, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry) and also sent them a link to his brainchild, which is posted on YouTube.

The impudent Omsk said that the film is a sublimation of his sexual fantasies and he is not afraid of lawsuits from Western stars. The very same Mr. Matvienko, meanwhile, went to the outskirts of Omsk and there declared ... a hunger strike.
