Robert Downey Jr. pardoned for an old crime

Robert Downey Jr. and another 90 criminals who took the path of correction, were pardoned by California Governor Jerry Brown. Now the actor will again be able to vote in elections.

The authorities' decision

The document signed by the governor says that Robert Downey Jr., leaving the prison walls, lives honestly as a law-abiding citizen of the United States, showing only good moral qualities, in addition, he paid a debt to society and therefore deserved a full pardon without any restrictions.

Restore rights

The actor and other pardoned will be restored in the voting rights. According to California law, there is a whole list of articles, having served a sentence on which convicts can not vote in elections.
