Brief history of organza and its types

Organza was brought to European countries from the East around the 18th century. Other sources say that it was first produced in Uzbekistan, in the city of Urgench, where the ancient silk-spinning industry is still located. Initially, the organza was made of silk, it began to be used in the manufacture of a veil, as a fashionable element of the outfit, and later it was massively used for tailoring.

Gone are the days, and an organza made of silk is simply impossible to find. Now the main component of this fabric is polyester. Due to this, organza tulle has a number of advantages - strength, resistance to light and other atmospheric phenomena, as well as its hard crushing. Separate organza into several types: monophonic, with printed pattern, tulle with embroidery and organza-chameleon, which overflows with all colors.

Application of organza

Organza has many unique characteristics, which makes it universal in its application. Tulle from organza is so transparent that it can be compared even with glass. Therefore, decorators often use it in dark and small rooms.
