The usual phrase "coat as a dress" for Catherine Smolina and her creative team became the motto. The designer has for several years developed her unique style, which allows fashionable women to be fragile, delicate, defenseless, even in outerwear. Despite such models, coats from Catherine do not lose in the ability to heat - they are made of quality materials and heaters that can withstand Russian winters.
Since 2004, the Fashion House of Ekaterina Smolina has produced 14 collections, most of them were presented at Russian fashion weeks.
Fashion coats in the form of dresses
Coats of Catherine Smolina favorably differ by their originality and unusual cut. The latest collections were represented by such styles of coat-dresses:
- fitted woolen coat with a collar-stand with a twisted decorative braid on the back;
- a flared coat with embroidered flowers, a small turndown collar and an elegant leather belt;
- double-sided coat with a pleated skirt and zipper;
- a coat with a pleated basque;
- coat-transformer of bright spotted colors;
- a coat with a double-breasted collar;
- a coat with three-dimensional sleeves and a collar;
- a kimono coat without a collar;
- a coat named "Watercolor", received such a spring name, thanks to a flower print on the skirt;
- coat with a lush skirt with festoons.
Coat colors like Smolin's noble dress are purple, red, light green, gray, blue, pale pink, beige. Some women's dress-coats are decorated with a delicate floral or abstract print, others have cute details in the form of beads instead of buttons or hand-made brooches.
