Mini-chest of cardboard can become an original decoration for the desk and the room of the needlewoman, in addition, it can put various useful trifles. It is suitable as a gift for a little lady - it is convenient to use such a chest for storing small toys, pins, ornaments.
But most importantly - a mini-chest of cardboard is easy to make by own hands, having spent on it a minimum of material resources and time. So, we offer your attention a simple and accessible master class how to make a chest of drawers from cardboard.
To create a cardboard chest size of 15 by 14 cm, we need: a pack of thick paper for drawing A3 size, glue, a roll of self-adhesive film of the coloring "under the tree", ribbon, eyelets and various ornaments.
- We make workpieces for drawers in the following drawing.
- Cut the sheet in half and get the blanks for the first two boxes.
- We cut the side red lines and bend the strips in this way.
- Further, the cut edges are hidden and pasted inside the "accordion", raising the sides. As a result, we get here is such a box.
- For each drawer-box we make compartments according to the following drawing.
- We make a cut along the red line, bend the leaves and glue the joint.
- Next, we need 4 rectangles of a solid two-millimeter cardboard 15 by 14 cm for "interlayers" between the "floors" of the commode.
- We glue the chest sections together, laying a layer of cardboard between them. The result is such a construction.
- Now you can move the drawers to their rightful place.
- We glue the walls with a sticky film (photo 18).
- We make the bottom and the "roof": for this we cut out rectangles of dense cardboard, but by the size of 14.5 by 15.5, so that they mute protrude beyond the boxes, glue.
- The front panels and the bottom of the boxes are also pasted with a film.
- We fix the eyelets and tie the bows that will serve as handles.
- We decorate the chest of drawers, for example, in the technique of scrapbooking. It turns out that such a beauty.
