Dust David Bowie dispelled at the festival

The ashes of the legendary David Bowie on the weekend were scattered over the Black Rock desert, located in the state of Nevada, at the festival of independent art Burning Man (translated from English as "Burning Man").

Great idea

The godson of David Bowie turned to his widow with an unusual request. He asked for some of the remains of the musician left after the cremation of the body in New Jersey to dispel the mortal remains of Bowie at the annual Burning Man festival.

He told Iman that before the demise of David, they discussed with him such an opportunity. The wife of the deceased, after reflection, gave her consent to the ceremony.

The Last Haven

On Saturday, in the presence of 70 admirers of David Bowie's talent, his ashes were scattered over the desert.

Before that, in a specially erected building that resembled an ancient temple, everyone could recall the deceased loved ones. People walked to the pyramid, performing songs of the musician, told the participant in the procession.

After sunset, when everything was plunged into darkness, the wooden structure was burnt.
