The Trinity is a very bright Orthodox holiday, popularly called "green saints", because its main symbol is the birch. They celebrate it 50 days after Easter, in mid-June and are considered one of the most important summer holy days. There are many signs and beliefs associated with it. For example, on this day they collect medicinal herbs, which gain full strength and can become a powerful amulet for the whole year. To decorate the house bring green birch branches, previously lit in the church, and the next day they are left in the field, so that the harvest was rich. Girls on the Trinity went to groves where they conducted round dances, wreathed wreaths and guessed fortified wives. Is there an explanation for why it's raining on the Trinity?

Long-term meteorological observations have revealed an interesting regularity: the Trinity almost always rains. There is no scientific explanation for this fact, it is believed that this is just a coincidence, since the beginning of summer and it should be rainy.
