This article is devoted to the biography of this legendary computer figure.

Childhood and youth of Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in Mountain View, California, with a young couple Joan Shible and Abdulfattah Jandali. Biological parents, being unregistered in marriage by students, gave the newborn son to the upbringing of a childless family of Jobs. At the same time Steve Jobs' adopted parents had a written commitment to give the boy a higher education. Later Jobs took another family to the family - a girl named Patty. Steve's father - Paul Jobs - was an auto mechanic, mother - Clara Jobs - worked as an accountant. In his youth, his father tried to instill in Steve interest in auto mechanics, but he did not succeed. However, their joint studies were not in vain, since Steve was carried away by electronics. At school, Steve Jobs met with the computer "guru" Steve Wozniak, known as Steve Woz. Despite the fact that there was a difference of 5 years between them, the guys quickly found a common language and became friends. Their first joint project was the so-called "Blue Box" (Blue Box). He was engaged in the creation of devices, and Jobs sold finished goods. After graduating from high school, Steve enters Reed College in Portland, Ore. However, he quickly squanders interest in learning and abandons it. After a year and a half of free life, he took a job in the company to develop computer games Atari. After 4 years, Woz creates the first computer, the sales of which under the old scheme deals with Steve Jobs.

Career of Steve Jobs

Later, in 1976, friends create a joint company, which gets the name Apple. The first production shop of the newly-born company is the parent garage of the Steve Jobs family. In their creative duet, Wozniak was working on developments, while Steve played the role of marketer. The first computers were sold by friends in the amount of 200 pcs. However, this result is nothing compared to the sales of Apple2, the development of which was completed in 1977. Thanks to the huge success of the two computers in the information technology market, friends have become real millionaires by the early 1980s.

The next significant event in the life of Apple is the signing of a contract with Xerox, in tandem with which a new improved model of the personal computer Macintosh was born. From now on, the main means of controlling high-tech machines is the mouse, which greatly simplifies the work with the computer and makes it incredibly popular.

In place of the staggering success of Apple comes a time when Steve Jobs is forced to say goodbye to the company, which reached the beginning of the 80's huge size. The reason for this was Steve's intractability and authoritarianism, which caused an insurmountable conflict with the company's board of directors. After leaving Apple, Steve does not sit idly by. It is taken immediately for several projects, one of which is NeXT and the graphic studio Pixar. 1997 will be the year of the celebration of the winning return of Steve Jobs to Apple, which will give the world such famous developments as the mobile phone iPhone, iPod player, and iPad tablet. These technological innovations finally bring Apple into the indisputable leaders of the computer industry.

The personal life of Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was always noted for his emotionality and lack of restraint, which left a mark on the personal life of the genius. Steve's first love was Chris Ann Brennan, whose relationship started before Jobs graduated from high school. The couple then converged, then parted for 6 years. The result of these complex relationships was the birth of the common daughter of Lisa Brennan. Initially, Steve refused to recognize his daughter, but later, after establishing paternity on the basis of a DNA test , was forced by court order to pay Chris alimony . When Lisa grew up, their relationship with her father became closer. Later, he expressed regret about his behavior towards his daughter in his younger years, explaining this by his unwillingness to become a father.

The next Steve's assignment was Barbara Jasinski, who was busy building a career in an advertising agency. Their relationship lasted until 1982, until they naturally went to "no". Then came the time of the novel with the famous singer Joan Baez. However, the age difference forced them to leave after 3 years of excellent relationships. Later, Jobs's attention was attracted to student Jennifer Egan, whose novel lasted only a year, without receiving a continuation on the initiative of Jennifer. The next love in the life of Steve was Tina Redse, who is a computer consultant in the IT field. She, like no one before her, was similar to Jobs himself. They were united by many things: a difficult childhood, searches for spiritual harmony and extraordinary sensitivity. However, Steve's selfishness ruined their relationship in 1989.

Steve Jobs's wife happened to become only one woman - Lauren Powell, who later gave him three children. Younger than Steve for 8 years, she also experienced a difficult childhood in the absence of her own father. At the time of the meeting with Jobs, Lauren worked in a bank. In 1991 they were married. Steve Jobs was happy in marriage: he cherished the family and loved children, despite the fact that he had almost no time for them. He paid particular attention to his son, Reed, who grew up very much like his father.
