Created a doll Barbie, supporting breastfeeding!

Adapted to the realities of life Barbie dolls masters Betty Strachan (Betty Strachan) from the Australian city of Brisbane are known and popular on the expanses of the world wide web for more than four years.

Despite the fact that the girl brings up two sons of three and five years, she made a hobby of repainting the same Barbie shops with an unnatural appearance in the dolls with the face of ordinary people who surround us every day.

Thanks to her clever manipulations in her hands, the glamorous, long-legged beauties with defiant makeup and fashion dresses turned into cute girls, girls and women, with freckles on their cheeks, chipped teeth, red curls and snub nose. Well, you guessed it - the Barbie dolls became like us!

But stop on the reached Betty was not going to. Communication in a group of young mothers inspired the girl a very unusual project - the creation of a doll Barbie, breastfeeding her baby.

The topic of the new work was not chosen at all because Betty herself had recently twice passed through this important stage:

"It's amazing, but something strange is happening in the world," the artist shares her emotions. "The question of breastfeeding has become some kind of taboo. Women who are nursing in public places are condemned, photos on which the mother feeds the baby can be removed from the social network, and even the men began to raise their hands on their wives while they are busy feeding ... "
"One day, I just repainted the old doll, and I got the face of one of the members of our group," Betty comments. "Then I put a small puppy on her, imitating the sacrament of breastfeeding, photographed this story and shared it in Instagram. It's incredible, but so many people liked my dolls that the proposals to continue their release fell on me! "

Betty Strachan joined her new creations in the series "Mamas Worldwide Barbie", but recently she was replenished with new copies - Barbie dolls in anticipation of the baby!

In the family of the Barbie doll, replenishment is planned!

"I noticed that the lack of diversity only hurts. Our children play with the same type of dolls - they, as a rule, all with blue eyes and blond hair. But, we're not all that! Yes, and the physiological processes, such as pregnancy and feeding for them are generally incomprehensible. And on such simple examples it will be easier for them to accept that motherhood is a great happiness and a lot of work at the same time! "- the artist considers.
