How to install the sockets by yourself?

  1. All work with the electrical network must be carried out with the voltage off, so the first thing to do before installing the outlet, is to turn off the voltage on the meter. After that, you can make a hole in the wall with a crown, which is attached to a puncher or drill.
  2. The depth of the hole should correspond to the thickness of the box, which will hold the inside of the socket. A box (pictured below) must be purchased with a power outlet.
  3. On the puncher, set the speed to maximum and slowly approach the wall. The opening under the socket should look approximately, as in the photo.
  4. If the wires are short, they can be lengthened - cleaned, bolted extra and insulated, as in the photo. After this, you need to make a small hole for the insulated part of the wires, and the wire must be passed through the box and installed in the wall.
  5. Next, cover the holes in the wall with a solution of sand and cement (1: 1) with a small amount of water.
  6. When the cement dries, you can proceed to install the interior of the socket, fixing the wires to the contacts. Modern wiring has two wires - phase and zero, which are attached to the corresponding terminals. Bolts are used to fix the wires. After that, you need to fix the outlet in the box, bolted it. The more bolts are fastened, the longer the socket will serve.
  7. The socket is fixed, you can turn on the voltage and check if it works. Do not touch exposed wires.
