Sofa two-in-one

The desire to save space in modern apartments has generated a large number of transforming furniture. It includes two-in-one sofas, and their variants of transformation can be very different.

Sofa-bed two-in-one

The sofa in the version of the transformer is combined with the bed. That is, when folded, a piece of furniture is a sofa, and when decomposed it turns into a comfortable wide bed. Such sofa beds are convenient to place even in small one-room apartments, where the only room combines the functions of the living room, dining room and bedroom. Sofas can have different variants of the mechanism: accordions, roll-out, books. All of them have advantages and disadvantages. There are also two types of such sofas: two-in-one sofas and angular sofas.

A straight sofa is located along one wall. It is in such models that different mechanisms for layout can be used.

Angular sofas have a part located at an angle of 90 ° to the main one. Such couches in the vast majority of cases are equipped with a drawout layout system, when the additional section first moves out from under the sofa, and then rises to the same level with it, forming a single berth.

Two-in-one-story sofa

There are also such constructions of transformer sofas, which, when decomposed, form two separate sleeping places located one above the other. Typically, two-in-one sofas with bunk beds are purchased for children's rooms. Then, folded up, the sofa is a convenient place for children to sit and play, and at night it becomes a full bed for both children. There are various options for transforming such a sofa and turning it into a bed, but it is worth noting that it is best to choose those designs that are equipped with a special locking lock that securely secures the structure in the unfolded position. This additional security measure is necessary, because children are very mobile, they can try to jump from the second tier of the bed to the first one or start fighting. And it is simply necessary that the structure be securely fixed, and there is no risk of sudden and spontaneous folding of the entire structure or part of it.
