- cord or strong rope.
To make a bookshelf with our own hands, we will not need drawings. We measure on the board 11 identical bars with a width of 5 cm each and two brusks 6.5 cm wide. We cut the board into parts along the marked lines using a saw or a jigsaw. On the ends of each bar using a ruler and a pencil, we mark the points under the holes, which should be at a distance of 3.5 cm from the edges. In the marked places we drill through holes through the electric drill. The ends of the bars should be sanded with nest. Cut two identical pieces of cord or rope. At one end of each segment we tie a strong knot. For greater strength, you can fix the knots with glue. We pass the end of each cord without a knot first to a wide bar, and then gradually to the rest. Between the bars should be threaded on the cord around each hole for three metal washers, which will serve as spacers. Last we pass the second wide bar. We attach wide bars of our shelf to the metal holders. We fix our bookshelf, made by ourselves, on the wall.
