The park built on the bones in Voronezh became the habitat for evil spirits emerging from desecrated graves!
In Voronezh, there are seven large parks, but only one of them is prejudiced by superstitious local people. Although outwardly it does not differ from other urban cultural monuments - rather, on the contrary, it should attract the attention of onlookers to the circus that has existed for several decades. A circus built on bones and forcing local ghosts to give rest to the living from vengeance ...
Bloody history of the "park in the cemetery"
Priests and believers in Voronezh believe that there should not be a park in this place at all. The cemetery of St. Mitrofan of Voronezh existed on this patch of land for many decades: basically, people who died from the cholera epidemic were buried there. In the southern part of the grave complex was located the "Literary Necropolis", which managed to be preserved to the present day. It contains the graves of the poets Nikitin and Koltsov, as well as the writer Militsyna.
In 1940, one of the local party figures living near the cemetery, decided to change the situation outside the window and contribute to the construction of a recreation park and culture named after Durov on the graves of thousands of Voronezh residents. At the same time, the city administration did not even intend to take into account the fact that the last burial place at the Mitrofanov cemetery was committed only 5 years ago. The tombstones were barbarically removed from graves and used for facing streets and stairs leading to the river. Since atheism flourished in the USSR, many residents of the city took the plates to private houses and used them for construction and garden work. A large spacious park has become one of the most popular places of rest among the townspeople.
In 1975, a circus was built in the park, which was to attract even more local residents. Its building was erected on the site of the former Oviatka temple, which stood in the same cemetery. Voronezh State Circus named after AL Durov with a capacity of 2100 seats is still functioning. During the erection of the circus, workers regularly died, were traumatized by everything that they could and claimed that the place was cursed, but no one listened to them.
Revenge of the Worried Dead
The first to influence the recklessly touched deceased experienced the owners of private houses, not disdained gravestones for their farm. Already in 1941-42 they feverishly began to get rid of the appropriated, simply throwing out stones with the names of the deceased on the street. On the surrounding "Park of the Living and the Dead", as it was then nicknamed, the streets, there was not a single house with a stove from the Mytofan cemetery, which would bypass death. Their new owners seemed to be cursed: they fell seriously ill or simply died under strange circumstances.
Later one of the local residents told:
"There was a family in the neighborhood. The guy brought them on a cart three whole plates to pave the yard. Mother swore, ordered to take the plates out, but father intervened, he was party, and ordered to leave. In less than a month, the elder son in the family, the one that brought the plates, and soon died, became ill with pneumonia. Then my father broke his leg, it was not properly fused, three times later they broke, so he remained disabled. Well, when they discovered the tuberculosis of the youngest daughter, the mother did not listen to anyone anymore, she called the peasants, gave them half a liter, and they dragged the plates out of the yard and taken away from the house - they threw it into the stream. And she went to church and ordered a sorokoust for the repose of the names, that on the plates were carved. Exactly in 40 days my daughter went on the amendment, she was sent to a sanatorium in the Crimea, where she recovered. "
Since the tombstones were paved with steps of park stairs, ghosts and they were not left without attention. For example, a ladder on the street Velvet Bugor, disassembled by the inhabitants of Voronezh just a few years ago, was known for many years by a ghost named Praskovya.
The mystical difficulties of working in the circus named after Durov are known to all tours of the country troupes, so most of them categorically do not agree to come to the accursed park. It is known that animals feel the presence of beings from the subtle world much stronger than humans. The trainers say that for this reason it is impossible to perform in the circus of Durov, as none of the animals listens to the commands.
Perhaps the residents of Voronezh should think about moving or closing the park after such events ...
