The climate in the kitchens, in comparison with the conditions in our dry and clean bedrooms, halls or hallways, is much more complicated. Here there is steam, aggressive chemical household preparations, condensate forms on the walls of the facades, there is more chance of scratching or cutting the top decorative layer during operation. But the purchase of products from expensive wood or MDF for many owners is not always an affordable business. It's no wonder that many people turn their eyes to kitchens and other furniture made from particleboard, which has always bribed with its budgetary price and is quite presentable.

Pros and cons of the kitchen from the chipboard

Wood chipboards attract buyers with their relatively small cost, because they are produced from waste that was previously burned in stoves. In addition, this material is easy to saw, plan, drill, join together fasteners, paint. Very many are deterred by the presence of a small percentage of formaldehyde resins in the EAF, but this applies to cheap E2 material. If you buy products of class E1, in which there are fewer harmful substances, then there will be no risk of poisoning with dangerous discharges.

Usually the owners of cheap sets of chipboard over time complain about the peeling of the decorative film, imitating wood or other material. In order not to suffer from such a defect, it is necessary to purchase sets of laminated material that are more durable. Fat and dirty stains are easily removed from such a durable and beautiful surface, so even white kitchens from laminated chipboard do not lose their presentable appearance over time.

Naturally, cheap materials should have some drawbacks. Kitchens from the chipboard can easily be distinguished from competitors by their more modest appearance. On the doors and side surfaces there is no artistic carving, pens are applied almost exclusively overhead, the surface is flat and does not have any original texture. In a humid environment, the EAF is worse than MDF or plastic, and over time, the plates can loosen at the fixing points. That is why manufacturers are increasingly trying to combine materials using wood chipboards only as back walls or other internal surfaces. This approach allows you to maximally improve the design of the kitchen from chipboard, not greatly increasing the total cost of furniture.
