Queen Elizabeth II with dogs appeared on the cover of VANITY FAIR

The love of British subjects for their queen Elizabeth II and her family knows no bounds, which is why every event in their lives is covered in great detail. In honor of the 90th anniversary of the Queen, the inhabitants of Great Britain were able not only to enjoy a grandiose concert, but also to see all sorts of photosession of the crowned person.

One of the most interesting collaborative works of the queen and photographer was published by the British glossy VANITY FAIR. These pictures were devoted to the anniversary of Elizabeth II, and they were attended not only by the birthday girl and her numerous relatives, but also her favorite dogs - Dorgo Vulcan, Candy and Corgi Holi, Willow. It is with these lovely animals that the queen is depicted on the cover of the June issue of the magazine.

For the filming was chosen Windsor Castle, and the photographer was invited to the famous American Annie Leibovitz. It was she who worked for nine years with the royal family over a series of portraits at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. In her small interview Annie commented on the work with Elizabeth II:

"This shooting is very amazing, because all ideas belong to the queen herself. She herself told us in which halls we will shoot, what dresses she will wear, and how she will pose. In addition, Elizabeth II notified all who will take part in the photo session: grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her son, Prince Philip and daughter, princess Anna. When I saw the queen, I was very impressed by how she lives in harmony with herself and with her family. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she is not only very fond of, she adores them "
