Russian Independence Day

Most recently, during the times of the Soviet regime, someone was guided by the idea, and someone else's duty, but almost all people came out and stood in crowds, holding the red banner in their hands. However, this remains far in the past. The Soviet Union collapsed, a new young Russia appeared. Holidays as such were practically nonexistent, and what to hide at that time was not up to them, the new democratic, and behind it the economic system was laid. At that time they began to celebrate Easter , New Year , Christmas . Even the old New Year was a reason for celebration. However, there were no public holidays.

However, in 1994, Russian President Boris Yeltsin issued a decree, which says that the date of Independence Day - June 12 will now be celebrated, then this holiday was called the Day of Russia's declaration of state sovereignty.

This document was signed earlier, when the republics of the former Soviet Union gradually became independent separate states. Later it became known as the Day of Independence of the Russian Federation.

This was the first not quite successful attempt to create the first holiday in the history of the new state of Russia, which meant the beginning of the new time for Soviet people. However, population surveys did not show the proper effect. On the question: "What date is Russia's independence?" - many knew the answer, but what was the essence of this holiday, not everyone understood. Most Russians perceived June 12 as a regular day off. To date, this holiday is paid much more attention from the government, and therefore people began to understand the importance of Russia's Independence Day.

Many considered independence to be something new, while forgetting that Russia is a great power, which is the largest country in the world. It stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the Baltic shores. Independence of our Motherland is the long-term works of our ancestors, huge losses, feats of those citizens who did not spare themselves, for the sake of their homeland.

Independence Day of Russia

Since 2002, Moscow began to celebrate Independence Day. This year a parade was held along Tverskaya Street from all Russian peoples who marched under the banner of the unification of the Russian lands. In 2003, the Day of Russian Independence was celebrated on Red Square, people from all regions of the Russian Federation marched along it, and, as you know, there were as many as 89 of them. After that there was a parade in the air, the sky was cut by military fighters who sprayed the flag of the Russian Federation.

And since that time the traditions have not changed, the Independence Day of the Russian Federation is celebrated on a grand scale. So is V.V. Putin does not cease to celebrate the importance of the state summer holiday.

In government institutions, it is also customary to celebrate on June 12. Particular attention is paid to growing citizens a great country, because as the saying goes, children are our future. Russia's Independence Day is celebrated in the school, even in spite of the summer holidays.

Celebrating Russia's Independence Day is held in all schools, it does not have to be a boring lecture about the past of our country, it is natural that everyone should know the story. However, children better grasp everything in a playful form. Therefore, it is better to hold an event in the form of a competition, a quiz, where you must remember the anthem, flag, history of Russia, great people, poems, songs, etc. Of all these little things, what we call our Motherland is formed.
