Avsallar, Turkey

Turkey is a favorite place of rest for the majority of our compatriots: good service, relative exotics and all for a rather "raising" sum. There are a lot of resorts here, and each has its own special flavor. One can not fail to mention the small tourist village in Turkey - Avsallar.

Vacations in Avsallar

A picturesque resort on the Mediterranean coast of a small size is located between the two famous resorts of the country - Alanya and Antalya (140 km). The village of Avsallar shakes its guests with the magnificent natural beauty of the surrounding dense forests and the purity of the air, filled with the smells of pine needles and banana groves.

Do not disappoint and the beaches of Avsallar. The coastline is clean, here there are both sand and pebble (to a greater extent) and sandy beaches. The best beach - Incekum - is covered with fine sand, washed by crystal clear and warm water of the Mediterranean Sea.

By the way, the sea water here is the warmest, as the tourist village is surrounded by bays, protecting from the invasion of cold cold masses.

The only thing to book here is a tour for rest with children, you should not recommend it, since the descent into the water is quite steep. In Avsallar, the weather usually pleases arriving vacationers from May to October, when the "dry season" comes. In general, the local climate can be described as subtropical. The average temperature of the air at this time reaches a mark of 27 degrees. Although in July and August the thermometer often fluctuates around the 40-degree mark. Sea water in the high season is very comfortable: on average it warms up to 24 degrees. The best months for vacation are May, September or the first half of October. But in summer you will be waiting for the exhausting heat. In the so-called "rainy season" it is overcast, but not cold: the air temperature during the day warms up to an average of 15 degrees, and the sea water - up to 17 degrees.

If we talk about infrastructure, then in Avsallar it is developed at a fairly high level - after all, the village is typically tourist. On the coast adjacent to the resort, there are five-star hotel complexes and budget "three stars": Annabella Park Hotel, Aska Just In Beach, Pegasos Club, Jasmin Beach, Alara, Yalihan, Ulusoy Aspendos and others. In any case, the majority of tourists in the hotels of Avsallar noted the quality of service.

What to see in Avsallar?

In addition to lazy lying on the beach at the resort, you can relax actively. True, the possibilities for entertainment here are rather limited. Guests usually try to take a look around the village to see the sights of Avsallar. To them, for example, you can include an elegant city mosque, a clock tower, a central square with a fountain and a monument to the founders of the village.

But the real tourist "mecca" of Avsallar is the market. It is located near the coast and operates exclusively on Wednesdays. Here you can buy inexpensive quality spices, fruits, souvenirs for every taste for your loved ones and colleagues, and, of course, the famous Turkish textiles. Do not forget that it's customary to bargain in the Turkish bazaar!

You can relax after shopping in one of the cafes or a restaurant. Fans of the Turkish bath are invited to visit the local hammam . We recommend you to walk through traditional shops selling coffee and gold products, souvenir and antique shops. Fans of active nightlife will enjoy it on one of the discotheques in the open air or in numerous clubs.
