Cabbage cutlets with a manga

Usually when we talk about a side dish , different cereals, salads, vegetable assortments and other similar dishes come to mind. You can surprise everyone by giving the second unusual cutlets from cabbage. It seems that cutlets can not be a side dish, but cabbage patties with a manga are a clear exception. They perfectly combine with meat dishes (crockery, beef stroganoff, homemade stew or baked chicken), fish (especially steam) and salads.

Usually, cabbage cutlets are prepared with a manga made from white cabbage, but you can also use a colored cabbage if you slightly modify the recipe. But from broccoli, Brussels and kohlrabi cutlets should not be cooked.

Cabbage can be prepared in two ways: boil and put out. Try both and decide how delicious it will be. If you choose the first method, then cut the forks into large pieces, place them in boiling water and keep in boiling water for about a quarter of an hour, then merge and mix with the onion and chopped garlic.

If the second method is closer, cut cabbage rather thin straws and stew with onions until soft, then add the garlic. Then the technology is the same. We use any gadgets that will allow us to crush cabbage (blender, combine, meat grinder), drive eggs, salt, pepper and add manga. Stir and leave for half an hour, as the croup needs to swell and turn into a more dense mass. After this, we can form cutlets and, having rolled them in breadcrumbs or flour, fry over medium heat. As you can see, it is easy and quick to cook cabbage patties with a manga.

About options

In our case, we cooked cabbage patties, using a recipe with a manga and an egg. However, if you are fasting, you can not add eggs, but for viscosity, we will interfere with a couple more st. spoons of wheat flour.

If we prepare cutlets from cauliflower, then we first disassemble it on the inflorescence, then boil it, well, and then we do everything also.

You can cook cabbage patties in an oven with a manga. In this case, the formed cutlets are laid out on a baking sheet covered with oiled parchment, greased with oil and baked until a ruddy crust. In this case, it's nice to put a small piece of butter inside each cutlet to make the cutlets tasty.

If you like cabbage cutlets, but the recipe with a manga is not very like, replace the mango with quality flour or a soaked loaf.
