Visas to Slovenia for Russians
So, a visa is really needed in Slovenia, and even more - to visit this European country you will have to issue a Schengen visa. With such a visa there is an opportunity to visit any country in the Schengen area, but the terms and other conditions for such a trip across Europe are negotiated separately.
As you know, visas come in different categories and types, depending on the purpose and duration of the future trip. They are workers, students, tourists or visas by invitation.
An additional list of documents required for a visa to Slovenia will differ in each of these cases. But there is also a mandatory package of securities:
- a foreign passport where at least one blank page remains and 3 months before the expiration of its validity period;
- all available old passports;
- two color photographs;
- a photocopy of the civil passport;
- the original tourist voucher, confirming the hotel reservation for the entire period of the trip;
- a visa application filled out by you personally;
- documents with confirmation of your stable financial condition (at least 50 euros for each day of stay in the country). It can be a certificate from your work with the specified minimum salary of 30 thousand rubles, an extract from the bank account or even a sponsorship letter;
- round trip tickets with the specified date of return;
- insurance (not less than 30 thousand euros).
Where can I apply for a visa in Slovenia?
In the past 2014 in some cities of Russia there were new visa centers of Slovenia. There, Russians can apply for a Schengen visa, but only category "C" (that is, the most "running", tourist). In 2015, several more will be opened, and then a visa for Russians to Slovenia will be available not only in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and Yekaterinburg, but also in most regional centers of the country (Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara , Saratov, Khabarovsk, Perm, Vladivostok, and others).
