Profiled sheeting under the stone

The fence, the plinth or the finishing of the external walls of the building will be very expensive when using natural stone. An excellent alternative would be the use of a profiled sheet that mimics this material. One of the most important characteristics of any construction product is reliability in operation, presentable appearance and availability. Facade profiled sheeting combines all these qualities.

Classification of corrugated board

Profiled flooring is a metal roll with corrugations arranged in the longitudinal direction. "Waves" basically have the form of a trapezoid, perhaps a wavy, sinusoidal solution. Flat sheets pass cold rolling, due to which they receive relief. The base is coated with an anti-corrosion, passivation layer (imparts stiffness), primer and polymers. The base can be alimino-silicon, zinc and alum-zinc.

Such sheets, including profiled sheets with a pattern for a stone, have a certain marking. The designation "C" in the index indicates that this substrate is recommended for wall cladding, also used for fences that do not carry walls and partitions. The wave size is 8-44 mm.

The index "H" is expedient for mounting in more critical areas, such as roofing, canopies, overlapping, visors. The bearing capacity is reinforced by the stiffeners, the wave is more than 44 mm.

Products marked "NS" (bearing) are used for working with a coating and wall structures, both for civil buildings (in the installation of partitions, fences ), and for the industrial design (warehouses, hangars, workshops). The height of the product is 20-44 mm.

The product can be fastened in the vertical or horizontal direction, thus both internal and external building elements are lined.

Features of metal corrugated board under a stone

Decorative corrugated board under the stone has become widely popular not so long ago. Initially, the painting of the sheets was monochromatic. The multipurpose line of painting and offset printing has allowed to receive a steady ornament on a metal basis. Combining the four basic shades, this approach makes it possible to create any drawing. The most popular are those that imitate marble, brick, granite, stone. The coating is shock-resistant. Due to the anti-corrosion primer and weatherproof ink, the product is not afraid of atmospheric exposure. The service life is estimated in tens of years.

Profiled sheeting for a wall or a socle under a stone is mounted extremely simply. The first step is to perform all the preparatory work: surface cleaning, waterproofing, ventilation equipment if necessary. Next, the crate is mounted. You can start fixing the metal. The sheets are overlapped. If you have chosen a corrugated board for wild stone for a fence, install a frame of profiled pipes, then "cling" the sheets.

Perhaps the main disadvantage of facing such metal products is the difficulty in cleaning. Pollution is especially noticeable on monophonic sheets. On the professional sheet "under the stone" they are difficult to notice. Clear such a fence, a wall or roof is easier with a soap solution, rags should be soft. Do not use any metal tools.

Ease of installation and transportation, low weight, assortment of colors, strength and durability, low costs of buying and servicing - all these qualities lead profiled sheets to the leaders in sales in the construction market.
