Famous for the whole world, designer Christian Labuten, who creates fashion shoes, was born in Paris in January 1963. The family, in which Christian Labuten grew, had nothing to do with art and fashion. His father Roger worked as a carpenter, and his mother Irene brought up four children. In addition to Christian, three girls grew up in the family. Like his sisters, Christian attended a regular school, but already at the age of eight he became interested in high-heeled shoes . This happened during an excursion to the National Museum of Art of Oceania and Africa. The fact is that at the entrance to the exhibition hall the boy saw a sign on which a crossed-out slipper was depicted. This meant that women were forbidden to enter the museum in such shoes. The image so firmly settled in the mind of Christian that he decided to become a designer of shoes. Already at the age of twelve his school notebooks were sketched by sketches of shoes. Christian's studies were of little interest, so he had to change four schools to finally get a certificate. All his free time he spent behind the theatrical scenes. Career designer
After graduating from school, the young man found work to his liking. Settled in one of the cabarets of Paris, Christian began to create stage dancers for dancers. After saving a little money, he decided to go to India, and then to Egypt, to learn the basics of the profession of a shoemaker. Two years later he returned to France, but not with empty hands, but with a whole heap of sketches of shoes. Demonstrating his work to the designers of the most famous fashion houses in Paris, he immediately found a job. His talent was appreciated by Charles Jourdain, from whom he worked as an apprentice for two years. During this time, Labuten has learned to correctly determine the size and shape of the shoe, sawing out individual elements of shoes. Already in the late eighties he managed to become freelance designer Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent .
The first collection, created by Christian Labuten in 1992, founded the eponymous brand, made a furor. Women, who often appeared on the red carpet, hurried to order his original shoes. In 1994, the biography of the designer was enlarged with a bright event - Christian Labuten created the first shoes with a red sole.
