In winter, the feeding is stopped, since with a small amount of light, the violet is more likely to sleep than grows. But even in winter it must be kept in the light, especially plants with dark leaves. Violets with light foliage are more shade-tolerant.

And still, if special conditions are created, as well as the feeding of violets in winter, they will blossom all winter long. On the shelves, when illuminated with fluorescent lamps, violets can blossom all year round and please you with their color. But let them rest for a couple of months a year! Stop in October, feed your flowers and remove peduncles.
