Today, the fruit of a fig tree (which is what is called figs) is available in almost any city, earlier this useful treat was available only to people living in the subtropics. Fig is a difficult fruit: it is not often that it is mentioned in the Bible and the Koran, and it was not in vain that Alexander of Macedon ordered his soldiers to use these strange, external fruits daily.

Figs are imported to our countries from Turkey, Egypt and Iran, but not in fresh, but in dried or dried form. This allows the fruit not only to retain, but also to increase its useful properties for a long time, since its substances become concentrated.

However, dried figs can bring not only good, but also harm: therefore let's understand, to whom and what for it is necessary to include in the menu a fig, and to whom strictly to exclude it from a ration.

Also, figs increase the level of hemoglobin in the blood.

Figs can also be used to normalize the digestive tract: for example, the useful properties of figs in a strict diet are manifested in the laxative effect of this fruit. To use figs as a remedy for constipation, eat 200 gr. fruit, and in a few hours its effect will manifest itself. Also this fruit is useful for gastritis: eat 2-3 fetuses daily, and well-being will improve. Still figs are used for poisoning, tk. enzymes contained in it, help the body's main filters - the kidneys and the liver to get rid of toxins.

Contraindications to the use of dried figs

Figs have useful properties, but with it there are also contraindications: so, a large amount of glucose to one person is only beneficial, adding energy, and others can do harm (for example, people with diabetes).

It is also not recommended for those who suffer from gout, because there are a lot of oxalic acid in the figs.

People prone to allergic reactions need to use this fruit with caution, since the variety of substances stored in it can cause an inadequate reaction of the body.

Another limitation, which concerns the use of figs - acute stages of gastrointestinal diseases, as there is a lot of fiber in it, to which the unhealthy digestive tract may not be ready.
