The Guitar Museum is managed by the owners of the rock club of Sharinsk and a music store called "4Sound". They are his main investors. Guitar Museum Collection
The creators of this unique cultural center are the music lovers Mikael and Samuel Aden. They began to collect musical instruments back in 1970, but put them on public display only on the day of the official opening of the museum of guitars.
Currently, their collection has 500 copies, among which:
- electric guitars of the 1950s and 1960s;
- electric bass guitars;
- musical amplifiers;
- Other tools related to the history of electric guitars.
The pearls of the musical exposition of the Aden brothers are the guitars Fender Broadcaster 1950, Gibson Flying V 1958 and Les Paul 1960.
Such a huge collection could not be overlooked by the world music community, which is why now the museum of guitars in Umeå is considered the largest of its kind.
In addition to the guitars themselves, this cultural center should be visited for the sake of temporary exhibitions. For example, recently the museum exhibited documents from the archives of the national movement, which were associated with the history of European hardcore 1989-2000.
