How to make your own hands for a sauna wood stove made of bricks?

  1. We expose the corner bricks of the first row.
  2. We check the level so that they lie as flat as possible.
  3. Roulette once again measure the width and length of the base, the diagonal of the future design.
  4. We produce the first row of masonry. We will notice, that the basis at us will turn out 3х3,5 bricks.
  5. The outer contour is laid out with facing brick , and the inner part is laid out with rubble brick.
  6. Install the corner bricks of the next row.
  7. We lay out the outer row of bricks. Notice, here we will have the ash door.
  8. Spreading the inside, we form a brick from the ash chamber.
  9. We put the third row, leaving inside the place for the bars. We fix the door, placing the wire fastened to it in the masonry.
  10. On the fourth row, above the ash room door, put a plate of stainless steel and cover it with bricks.
  11. On the fifth row we form a niche for installing the furnace door.
  12. Continue to produce a gradual laying up to the 9th row. Near the doors, we use, as necessary, cut pieces of bricks. The thickness of the joints is 4-10 mm.
  13. The 10th row is finished, it is possible to install the furnace door box from stainless steel. For thermal insulation of the external circuit, special flame retardant materials, such as technical carbon fiber, basalt cardboard or SUPERSIL, should be used.
  14. On the next row, we close the door with a lintel (corner from stainless steel), and from above we put a brick.
  15. The inner row, on which the grate (chamotte core) lies, is preferably laid out of brick, cut at an angle of about 22.5 °. You can trim on the machine or with a grinder. This technique will provide the opportunity to maximize the access of oxygen to firewood from under the bars.
  16. Approximately, this should look like a combustion chamber with a grate.
  17. During the internal masonry we used cardboard as a gasket between fireclay brick and facing brick to provide a technological gap of several millimeters.
  18. On the sixth row, the part of the furnace is covered with a fireclay plate (460x230x75).
  19. From above we will have a metal boiler for heating water, under it we put carbon fiber on the perimeter of the brick.
  20. The heater chamber is best cooked from stainless steel 4 mm thick. From below, we weld the corners (outside and inside) so that it firmly stands on them. The dimensions of the chimney are 130x130 mm.
  21. A stone bookmark is placed on the inner corners. It consists of two trimmed rails, cast iron brake pads (4 rows) on top of them, and a metal pipe is placed between them. When firing or drying the oven for a bath of brick, built with their own hands, the flue gases are first removed through this pipe. Then after 15 minutes a pipe opens into the heater, and the pipe on the tab closes. Smoke gases begin to go through cast iron and stones.
  22. In addition, a stainless steel boiler is made for water, which is placed on top of the oven next to the stove. Its width is the same as that of the heater.
  23. We install a heater and a boiler for water from above on the masonry.
  24. After this, the lining of these elements of the furnace in the bath with a brick is made by oneself. In the course of the work, flaps and a chimney are attached.
  25. It is better to produce a cover not with a continuous one, but with holes. This will enable the steel elements to be better cooled by air, so that they do not quickly burn out.
  26. The construction work is finished.
  27. You can pour water, kindle a fire in the oven and with pleasure to steam.
