The art of making cards by its own hands has its name - card-making, which is translated from English as "hand-made cards". The concept of "card-making" has existed for a long time, but the real popularity was brought to him, strangely enough, by the rapid development in the printing industry of the production of postcards. The modern market offers a huge number of beautiful postcards for every taste, but still something is missing. And it is clear what - individuality, warmth, sincerity. Everyone who makes a postcard with his own hands, puts a piece of his soul in it, so this gift is especially valuable.

In order to make a volumetric card with your own hands, you will need the following materials:
- paper pink and in a cage, we take into account that this will be the cover of our postcard, so pay special attention to its density;
- a shred of white chiffon, it needs very little;
- lace or braid, cut 10-15 centimeters;
- flowers of two sizes, paper or fabric, which can also be done by hand;
- stamens for flowers;
- half-buisine as the core of a flower;
- PVA glue,
- simple pencil,
- stationery knife,
- figured punch,
- scissors.

How to make a postcard to my mother?
So, when everything is ready for work, we proceed.
1. From the thick paper into the cage, we cut out the base for a postcard measuring 30 x 14.5 centimeters. Further from pink paper we cut out a rectangle 13х9 centimeters and superimpose on a basis, we have precisely as on a picture. The corners of the rectangle are decorated with a punch.
2. Choose a suitable size for the length of the lace, we place it under a rectangle of pink paper. Scrap chiffon collect a pin in the "skirt" or accordion for decorating the flower.
3. Collect the flower. We used ready-made cotton flowers, but it will look much more beautiful if you make flowers yourself with the help of cardboard or ribbons. We paste stamens to the flower. If there are no ready, make yourself 5-6 stamens. To do this, thread two beads on a thin thread, fixing them on the ends with knots. We glue together the flowers and stamens, and then glue a large half-bead into the middle.
4. From a white paper we cut out a small rectangle, with the help of a stamp we will make a congratulatory inscription. However, if you have a beautiful calligraphic handwriting, you can make the inscription yourself.
5. We lay out the finished parts on the basis, apply every detail to its place.
6. Gently glue the lace, then the pink rectangle, flower, chiffon and inscription. To give the card a volume we use glue pads or double-sided adhesive tape.
7. We decorate the postcard with butterflies made by a figured punch. If the punch hole does not work, you can draw a butterfly figure on paper and just cut it with scissors. Of course, in this case they are unlikely to be exactly the same, but this does not really matter.
8. It remains to write good wishes to your beloved mother on her birthday - and our gift is ready!
