1. It's great if you have special knives for carving at home, if not, then arm yourself with the thinnest knife. The thinner the knife, the more layers of "feathers" you get to cut. Also, you can take 2 more usual butter knives for helpers, why - see below.
2. The selected apple is cut along the diagonal, passing through the center.
3. One of the halves should be laid down with a cut down on the cutting board. And place the oil knives below and above the apple. They will stop the knife that you are going to cut out the wings, not allowing it to go deeper than necessary.
4. From both sides of the core we cut an apple. To do this, visually we mark in the middle a strip 1 cm wide, cut with a knife, but not to the end of the fruit, from below we make a counter incision. The corner turned out. We carry out similar actions on the other hand.

7. Prepare a place for the head. To do this, in the middle of the almost finished body (the strip that is 1 cm wide) we make a deep cutout.
8. To create the head, take the remaining half of the apple and cut out of it a slice equal in thickness to the prepared place for the head.
9. Focusing on the photo, make some cuts. You should have a neat head.
