Trademark History

Founded Replay brand in 1978 by Claudio Buszol, inspired, oddly enough, by watching a football match on TV. He conceived the idea of ​​creating his own brand of clothing for a long time, but it was the word Replay, which constantly flashed on the blue screen during repetitions of interesting moments of the match, prompted him to act. The first creation of Butzola was a small collection of women's blouses, made in vintage style . Girls tried the young designer, but he decided to expand the range, aiming at the products of denim. In the early nineties, jeans were incredibly in demand, so the first collection was sold out like hot cakes. In 1989-1991, jeans firm Replay were sold in quantities exceeding one million pairs!

Jeans "Replay" made their creator known throughout the world. In 1991, Claudio Buszol signed a contract with the Fashion Box, according to which his brand became part of this company. And the designer has not lost! Thanks to this deal, Replay was able to present jeans and other clothes on the world market. In 1991, opened the first boutique in Milan, in 1993, opened a branded store in New York. Until 1998, around the world with an interval of 8-10 days, new Replay boutiques opened, which today number more than six thousand. Currently, about 80% of all products manufactured by Fashion Box are products under the Replay trademark. The founder of the company passed away in 2003, but its receivers continue to adhere to the philosophy of Butzol.
