Kira Knightley's debut on Broadway

Fans of the famous Hollywood star Kira Knightley, the official representative of the Chanel house, are overjoyed: their favorite is conquered by Broadway. Thus, for the first time the British actress played the main role in the play, based on the novel by French writer Emile Zola, "Theresa Raken".

A bit about the plot

A young woman named Theresa remained an orphan at a young age. She was raised by a despotic aunt who did not want to replace the mother with her mother. In the hope of being loved and desired, she agrees to a marriage with Camille, whose morbidity and selfish nature are capable of alienating any person from the guy. But here again Teresa can not be happy - at the first opportunity, her husband starts a stormy affair with his friend, Laurent.

Keira Knightley on the Broadway scene

All October in New York the preconditions of the production are in full swing. By the way, it was not without curiosities: thus, in the middle of the act, neither from nor against, one of the spectators rose from his seat and headed for the stage, after which he began to shout at the British star. Of course, for the first seconds the hall thought it was part of the show. After all, Kira Knightley and her colleague Gabriel Ebert all the time continued to play their roles, not paying attention to the rebellious spectator. All would be nothing, but the latter, seeing that they ignored him, began to shout even louder: "I need your answer! Do you hear me?".

Fortunately, the offender withdrew from the hall guard, but he managed to throw a bouquet on the stage under Kira Knightley's feet. A noble Ebert, who played the wife of the actress, threw flowers from the stage to the applause of the auditorium.
