Prime Minister of Canada criticized for Indian outfits

Justin Trudeau is known for his originality and simplicity. He freely communicates with fellow citizens, is an active user of social networks and often surprises with his vivid and ambiguous images and amusing details of the wardrobe. So, at one of the speeches in Davos in the framework of the economic forum, Trudeau was seen wearing purple socks with an unusual print in the form of cartoon yellow ducks.

But the recent visit of the Prime Minister and his family to India was marked by an excessive desire to join the national color and customs of the country.

Trudeau's outfits, which were changed three times over the entire period of their stay in India, were considered a little inappropriate, and even the Indians noted that the Premier slightly overdone it with the image. The press immediately called Trudeau's attire "worthy of Maharaja", but critics believed that the prime minister overemphasized with diplomatic curtsey and even accused him of being lenient towards the culture of India. Indian media called the outfits of the prime minister "too Indian even for Indians."

So do not dress even in Bollywood

The former head of the Kashmir Ministry, Omar Abdullah, published a post in his Twitter, where he commented on several photos of the prime minister with his family:

"I think all this planned charm is still a bit too much. Indians themselves do not wear such clothes every day, even in Bollywood! "

Indian network users also did not stay away and wrote several reviews about the image of the Canadian prime minister, and also commented on the video from Trudeau dancing to the sound of national drums:

"He needs to report that in India they do not live as if they are around the clock shooting in Bollywood."
