At that, if involvement in the crimes of the first accused of sexual harassment magnates Hollywood was not in doubt, then in the future many of the "exposed" stars seemed to be drawn into a resonant scandal, as they say, for the company.
Recently, the well-known and respected 66-year-old actor Jeffrey Rush, the owner of numerous awards and leading awards in the world of theater and cinema, the winner of the Oscar and the Golden Globe, was suspended from work in one of the theatrical studios. Having received notice of the termination of the contract, Rush was in some quandary for some time and asked for an explanation in the theatrical company. The reason for its decision management called an anonymous complaint from one of the actresses, who accused Rasha of improper conduct.
Guilty without guilt
The actor was outraged by the incident and demanded an explanation, but the company refused to answer all the questions of Geoffrey Rush, explaining that he was not going to disclose any details of the case. In the end, the actor did not understand who and for which he complained. It became known only that it may be a question of some incident, allegedly occurred at the play "King Lear" two years ago.
Rush was completely at a loss, unable to understand this situation, nor to respond to absurd accusations put forward against him.

Insulted by the absurdity of the situation, the venerable actor decided to come out of the situation with dignity, having made a statement about his resignation as president of the Australian Film Academy:
"I took this decision with a heavy heart. However, all that has happened negatively affects not only my reputation, but also the work of my colleagues, which is unacceptable. In this situation, I do not see any other way out and therefore I fall into resignation. My decision will remain unchanged until all the details of this incident have been clarified to the end! ".
