In the 80's a new modern style appeared - steampunk or steampunk. The ideas of this bright style are formed on the basis of science fiction with elements of fantasy. Steampunk is a special subculture, which involves young people older than adolescents.
Steampunk style clothing
In 2013, there was a consumer boom in clothing, accessories and steampunk style jewelry. The main distinguishing feature of this style is the mixture of antiquity and modernity. Things in the steampunk style are able to completely transform an ordinary person into an aristocrat, revealing his inner essence and character. Women in the clothes of this style prefer leather corsets, bustles and skirts, diluting the image with gothic elements. From shoes they choose heavy rough brutal shoes or as they are called, grindersy, which together with clothes create a harmonious image.
Decorations in the steampunk style are more like museum exhibits, since they are quite authentic. It is in the adornments that the mechanical nature of this style is manifested. For example, earrings made of gears, various pendants, pendants and brooches from rusty metal, where whole mechanisms are connected. But, in addition to jewelry among the accessories there are quite simple models, these are mechanical pocket watches, umbrellas and goggles (glasses).
Steampunk wedding
Here in order to hold a themed wedding in the style of steampunk, you will have to make a lot of work, because to recreate this idea you need to think through everything to the smallest detail, starting with the original invitation cards, which, incidentally, can be attached gears, wedding ornaments, and up to the festive cake, which should also correspond to the theme of the event.
Especially it would be desirable to note, that the bride in a wedding dress steampunk should not look cynical and haughty. After all, if you really try, then in the style of steampunk you can achieve some kind of femininity and romance. For example, a bride can be in a traditionally white dress, but the decorations can be made from cogs, nuts and gears. Attach the veil to the hat, and with the help of make-up you can create some fantastic image. The groom can also put on a hat-cylinder and decorate him with goggles. Instead of a classic tie, you can put on a checkered handkerchief and attach it to the shirt with a gear holder.
Today, every woman can try to try on a steampunk style. To create an image, you need:
- top with a hard corset;
- bustle (this is a special skirt, lush behind);
- instead of top and skirt, you can choose a dress with magnificent sleeves;
- heavy brutal or narrow, with a small heel shoes;
- Accessories, where there are gears and screws. These details are one of the main attributes of this style;
