Meet is the 8-year-old Carter Blanchard from Searsy (Arkansas), who was diagnosed with one of the rare forms of skin disease of vitiligo.
His mother Stefanie Adkok was seriously worried about the emotional state of the child, knowing how not just at such a tender age to learn to accept themselves and to resist others:
"Carter began to go to school, where there was a huge number of children. And his appearance changed rapidly. The first thing he told me when he got into the car is that he hates his face and hates the way he looks! "
For the first time, doctors diagnosed vitiligo with Carter even in kindergarten, when the boy around the eyes had white spots. Since then, his self-confidence began to disappear, and disappointment and complexes have replaced them ...
Stephanie desperately tried to help her baby, and her prayers were finally answered!
Once, reviewing the news feed on Facebook, a woman caught a picture of a wonderful and charming dog with painfully familiar white spots around the eyes. After several hours of searching, she managed to find out that this is a thoroughbred 13-year-old black Labrador Roody from Oregon, who also was diagnosed with vitiligo, and even in the same year as Carter.
"I read that Rowdy has the same diagnosis as my son's," says Stephanie Adcock. "And I was shocked!" But most importantly - I immediately showed a photograph of Labrador Carter and he was so excited that Rowdy was not at all embarrassed by her uniqueness, but was proud of her! "
Fortunately, the caring people did not care about this story, and thanks to the donations collected in the social network, Carter and his mother went straight to Canby (Oregon) to meet a new friend and his hostess, Nicky Umbenhauer.
You will not believe it, but when you see the four-armed, and even so similar to you, Carter stroked him for two hours and pressed him to him!
"When we went into the room to Rowdy, it seemed like we had come here not for the first time, but have always been here," says the boy's mother. "Labrador and my son were like two dear to each other. And it seems like Rowdy knew what was going on inside my son and intuitively helped him. I know that no man could cope with this. It had to be a dog. It had to be Rowdy ... "
