Documents for a visa in the Emirates
Strangely enough, to issue a visa to the Emirates is easier than to other states. For this it is necessary to collect and submit to officials the following papers:
- the original of a foreign passport for an adult tourist who has a validity period of more than 6 months after the end of the expected period of the trip;
- color scanned copy of the first page of this passport;
- a colored scanned copy of the passport page where your child inscribed (if he is traveling with you);
- scan color photo size 3x4, and on a white background.
All listed documents must be submitted electronically. By the way, a visa is also issued in the UAE electronic. Upon arrival at the airport of destination, each tourist needs to have a copy of the visa received, otherwise he will not be admitted to the procedure for scanning the pupil.
For Russians, there are three types of visas to the Emirates:
- Tourist, according to which you can stay in the country for 1 month;
- Transit, issued for a period not exceeding 96 hours. It is required for a person who crosses the country in transit and wants to get outside this zone, for example, to leave the airport;
- a visit is a visa that is issued to a Russian for a period of 30 or 90 days on call from a citizen of the Emirates.
Visa to the Emirates - deadline
Depending on the type of visa, it is usually issued from three to seven days. So, for example, if you want to get a tourist visa, then it will take from five to seven days. Urgent visa with a tour can be quickly issued in two days. However, you should know that Friday and Saturday in this country are days off. Therefore, documents should be submitted for clearance at least 4-5 days before the trip.
The visa to the Emirates for Russians is a one-time ticket, so you will not be able to pass it twice. Documents are submitted only after payment (or prepayment) of the tour. You may be refused a visa without explanation. At the same time, the cost of a visa will not be returned to you.
If you want to visit the Emirates yourself, without the help of travel agencies, then to issue a visa, you need all the same documents that are sent to the consulate's email address. The terms for issuing a visa vary from 3 to 5 days. It is easier to get a visa to the Emirates, however you will need to confirm your solvency and have a registered reservation at the hotel.
