Women's clogs

These are summer shoes on a wooden sole or "stopper" with an open heel. Modern women's clogs can be on a platform, heel or wedge.

As is known, fashion has a property to return, and these sandals in this sense are no exception. Women's shoes as clogs returned to us from the fashion of the 70's, although with some changes.

Several centuries ago in Scandinavia such slippers were worn by workers and peasants, not only women, but also men. Luckily women of fashion, this kind of footwear has undergone significant changes, and now they are not cut out of wood, but consist of a solid wooden base, leather or cloth top. Most often, modern female clogs meet on the heel. Probably, the only thing that was preserved from the original species is the open heel part.

What are clogs?

These shoes are quite versatile, therefore, depending on the style in which they are performed, different materials are used for the decor and top of the shoes. The most popular models are made of leather. For example, women's leather clogs with a metal rivet decor can be an element of ethnic style.

Slightly less popular are clogs with a monophonic, smooth top. These shoes are ideal for clothing in the style of kazhual. Clogs can be on the heel, platform or wedge. Also there are women's closed and open clogs. Of course, traditional clogs have a closed sock, but designers, trying to diversify their shoes, come up with a model with an open version that looks equally impressive.

Regarding the decor, as in any kind of shoes, it is worth talking about a huge variety of details - from rhinestones to metal fasteners. Depending on the material from which the top is made, this or that decor is used. This variety allows you to combine clogs with almost all the outfits.
