Osteochondrosis is a serious enough disease that has progressed for many years and, ultimately, can cause disability. Pathology is characterized by the presence of a large number of symptoms, which are sometimes confused with manifestations of vascular dystonia, angina pectoris, etc. Therefore, the doctor is able to diagnose the disease only after examining the tests and conducting a comprehensive survey.
The main symptoms accompanied by cervicothoracic osteochondrosis are the following:
- painful sensations in the neck, back, legs, arms;
- discomfort in the sternum, gaining strength when inhaling-exhaling;
- ringing in the ears ;
- blurred vision;
- pain in the peritoneum and heart;
- impairment of motor activity of the limbs;
- violation of urination;
- irritability, apathy, tearfulness.

Symptoms of exacerbation of cervicothoracic osteochondrosis

- pain in the neck, radiating to the collarbone;
- paroxysmal headaches that spread to the eyes, whiskey, ears;
- increase in pressure;
- the turns of the neck provoke a crunch and the appearance of fog in front of the eyes;
- noise and ringing in the ears.
What other symptoms are there in cervicothoracic osteochondrosis?
Some manifestations arise so often that they are united into whole pathologies:
- Cervicalgia differs by sharp pain (lumbago) with awkward turning of the head.
- Cardiac syndrome is characterized by heart soreness and depends on one or another position of the trunk.
- For the vertebral artery syndrome is characterized by aching pain, localized in the occiput and passing into the temple, ear and eyes. Depends on the position of the head.
- Periarthrosis is combined with spasm of muscles, due to which there is a loss of sensitivity in the limbs, as well as impaired mobility of the shoulder joint.
