Colton Haynes spoke about oppression of sexual minorities in Hollywood

The most actual themes of Hollywood and the world of fashion are ageism, sexism, bodysheyming and homophobia. Each interview necessarily contains a number of questions on the definition of your tolerance, was no exception to the conversation with actor Colton Haynes, known from the paintings "Strela", "Wolf".

Last year, Haines confessed to a non-traditional orientation, joining a circle of famous Hollywood actors and directors such as film producers Ryan Murphy and Greg Berlanti, writer Jeff Davies. Despite the fact that Colton is now at the peak of popularity and lack of roles, he accused Hollywood of infringement of the rights and opportunities of representatives of the queer community.

On discrimination and homophobia, 29-year-old Haynes said the following:

Hollywood is mired in double standards, on the one hand, constant interference in personal life, on the other hand, the absolute ignoring of your personal talents as an actor! Everyone does not care what kind of professional you are, everyone is trying to "get in your bed." I am angry and disappointed that the directors and producers of Hollywood do not understand the colossal difference between a person's real life and his acting, building, creating images of fictional characters.

Colton Haynes noted that among the representatives of the film industry there are people who are able to understand and appreciate the talent of such as he.

I am grateful to God for the fact that on my journey I met people like Greg Berlanti, Ryan Murphy and Jeff Davis. They were not afraid of public condemnation, confessing their unconventional orientation, realized in Hollywood and understand that the profession of the actor does not depend on his personal life.

Colton Haynes told a bit about his chosen Jeff Lythame and his recent engagement:

I'm happy and not alone, next to me Jeff. He is engaged in design and floristics, he surrounds our world with romance and love. Engagement took place unforgettably, I was offered in Mexico on the roof of a skyscraper, under the songs of Cher and with the delivery of a diamond ring, and then there was a feyrevek. Now we have stopped hiding from the paparazzi, but at the beginning of the relationship we had to protect our privacy as much as possible from strangers.
