In the corners of the palace there were security towers, six of which were made for the defense of the castle gate.

The inner territory of the palace is divided by two streets intersecting in the center. At the main entrance to the palace is the Peristil preserved until our time - a hall for celebrations, decorated with granite and marble columns. The famous Sphinx is in the same room. On the territory of the fortress is the mausoleum of Diocletian.

Cave Baredine in Croatia
