Dresses by Marc Jacobs

Designer Marc Jacobs is a landmark figure in the fashion industry. A native of the Jewish family, he was lucky to be born in New York, where he graduated from the mathematical school and received a diploma of a fashion designer at Parsons The New School for Design. While still a student, Mark won several prestigious awards, which opened the way to the world of big fashion. In subsequent years, the biography of Marc Jacobs was only replenished with new collections, titles and prizes. Today, the fashion designer owns his own clothing brand - Marc Jacobs, and also acts as creative director of the fashion house Louis Vuitton.

3 Whales of the Empire Marc Jacobs

Clothing Marc Jacobs is available in three directions: pret-a-porter, youth and children. Each collection of Marc Jacobs, regardless of age, always pleases its fans with unusual design solutions, although the designer himself calls his clothes not sexual, not created for pleasure and generally quite simple. But, as they say, all ingenious is simple. And Mark Jacobs, like no one else, manages to follow this rule.

A la 60's

In the collection of Marc Jacobs spring-summer 2013, there are also elements of simplicity: a simple cut, a complete lack of jewelry, minimalism in terms of accessories, as well as a traditional black and white combination of colors. However, there are Marc Jacobs models for the spring-summer 2013 season and many original ideas. Inspired by the revolutionary 60-ies of the last century, the designer created outfits in the hypnotic style of op-art, which just ruled the world at that time. The new collection of dresses included tops of a direct silhouette, skirts, flared to the bottom, trouser pajamas. Dresses Mark Jacobs also introduced his fans: this time he awarded them a long maxi. Large strips, a chess cage with goose paws, intricate circles and animal prints, undoubtedly emphasized their rather poor color palette, which consisted of black, white, beige, brown and red colors.
