How the dishwasher works

Surely many housewives, planning to save themselves from daily washing dishes by hand, are interested in the question, how does the dishwasher work? There are many models of these house assistants, but are there any differences in their work? Let's try to understand the basic principles of the dishwasher.

How it works?

First of all, it should be said that dishes are washed using powerful water jets, the speed of which reaches 150 km / h. So, let's start with its lower part, where there is a bowl of water, inside of which there is a pump. From the pump up the pipes rise, the diameter of which narrows to the top. This construction of the pipe allows the water to rise at first slowly, while in the narrow part it is considerably accelerated. On the pipe there are two sprayers, each of which is located above one of the two trays with utensils. In addition to those jets that are directed down on the dishes, there are those that are aimed at the walls. Water flowing through the pipes creates a small inertia, which causes the sprayers to rotate. Rotating in this way over the trays with utensils, they are powerful water jets that repel the remnants of food. As you can see, everything is quite simple, the details are minimal, in particular only the pump and control panel. Therefore, there is nothing to go out of action, and the fewer details, the longer the unit serves. This is a description of the simplest model, but there are others, they have a "filling" more technological, and in practice they are more practical.

Some subtleties

As you know, fat and dried food is badly washed away with cold water, so most modern models of dishwashers are equipped with flow-through heaters. The heater is installed not in the tank itself with liquid, but around the water supply pipe. The presence of the water heating function is directly reflected in the operating mode of the dishwasher. As a result, the dishes are washed with boiling water faster, which means that the unit's operating time is also shorter. The average operating time of the dishwasher varies from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Everything will depend on the degree of its pollution, and, in fact, on the regime you choose. At the end of the washing cycle, dirty water is removed from the unit and a new batch for rinsing is injected, sometimes several times. And, at last, the last stage is drying, it is carried out by a stream of hot air.

That, in fact, and all that I would like to talk about this wonderful device, whose vocation is to save the gentle hands of the housewives from washing dishes.
