Facade thermopanels with clinker tiles

Clinker tiles first appeared in Holland , when there was a need for a high-strength artificial stone for facing buildings and building roads. Today, clinker tiles are produced from slate clay with the addition of various additives and oxide dyes. The mixture is extruded through the extruder through special slit-like holes. Then the workpiece is cut into tiles, which most often correspond to the dimensions of a standard brick . After that, the clinker tile is baked in the oven at a temperature of up to 1300 ° C.

Properties of clinker tiles

Due to its high strength and abrasion resistance, the clinker is used in places where it is not advisable to use less sturdy materials. Due to the homogeneity of the color of such a tile, traces of wear or chips are not visible on it. Having low weight, clinker tiles are very durable. It has many different shades and textures.

Clinker tiles are frost-resistant. It absorbs very little moisture, and therefore does not collapse like a natural stone, for example, when water enters its cracks and, after freezing, gradually destroys it.

In addition, the clinker is quite resistant to the effects of aggressive substances. Therefore, this tile is perfectly suited for facing buildings in large industrial cities.

Cladding of the facade with clinker tiles includes the creation of a warming layer, the attachment of a mesh, which then is applied plaster, gluing the tiles and filling the joints. Run this technology can only high-end masters, and the time for the facing of the building will take a lot.

Therefore, today a new type of material has appeared on the construction market - facade thermopanels with clinker tiles. These panels are a special construction, which consists of two layers. The first layer is a polyurethane foam base, which, in fact, performs the warming function. The second layer consists of smoothly laid rows of clinker tiles of different colors and textures. By special technology the clinker is pressed into the polyurethane foam base, which makes this connection extremely durable and reliable.

Sometimes in the production of thermopanels a third layer is used, which consists of chips of coniferous trees. This layer enhances the thermal insulation properties of the panels, and is also the basis for the assembly of the entire structure.

Advantages of clinker facade thermopanels

The building of facade thermal panels is made two to three times faster, and the appearance of the building looks more attractive. The great advantage of clinker thermopanels is their light weight, so to fix this cladding, you do not need to strengthen the existing foundation.

The clinker thermal cladding panels are securely and conveniently attached to any wall, whether wood, concrete or brick. And preliminary preparation of walls for installation of front clinker thermopanels is not needed in comparison with other types of facade cladding.

In the manufacture of clinker thermopanels, only natural materials are used, so this wall decoration is environmentally friendly and safe. Buildings, the facade of which is faced with thermopanels with clinker tiles, do not lose their original appearance for several decades.

The color of clinker tiles does not change with time, does not burn out in the sun. The walls lined with such panels do not damp and are not afraid of temperature fluctuations. The microclimate in the house, insulated with facade panels with clinker tiles, will become much warmer and more comfortable, and the owner of the building will save considerably on paying for heating.
