One of the last representatives of the "golden age" of Hollywood Kirk Douglas yesterday celebrated his 100th anniversary. On this occasion, the son of actor Michael and his wife Katherine Zeta-Jones organized a gorgeous party. 150 guests were invited to the hotel Beverly Hills, where the birthday boy was delivered in advance with his 97-year-old wife Anne Bidens.

Many people probably know that Kirk has a sick heart. That is why Shah many years ago banned the actor from drinking alcohol, but made a reservation that if Kirk lived to be 100 years old, he would allow him to drink a glass of vodka. Neither the doctor nor the patient forgot these words and now, at the birthday celebration, Kirk still sipped this drink. From Prediman's words, which he said after the event, it became clear that the doctor was very worried about his 100-year-old patient and this is not surprising, because such a dose of alcohol, and even at that age, anyone, can be knocked down.
After the promised glass of vodka was drunk to the bottom, Michael Douglas rose to congratulate his father. This is what the actor said:
"My father had a very difficult life: he survived a stroke, lost one of his sons and nearly died when the helicopter fell. However, he did not lose the desire to live and do good deeds. He achieved very great success at work. Kirk with dignity and perseverance suffers all troubles. For me, this is a very amazing person. "
After such a sincere congratulation, the jubilee took the microphone and answered his son:
