The most intimate corner of any apartment is the bedroom. There are no strangers here, here you can retire. Here you can lie down with a blissful smile on your lips, you can read before bed, relax morally and physically after a hard working week. All this happens with artificial lighting, which is the most important touch in the interior of your bedroom.
When creating a bedroom design, professionals offer a variety of different lighting ideas. But they all often agree that it is best to have two types - local and top. Local lighting we often use immediately before bedtime (to read a book, for example), and the upper one, as soon as we go into the room.
Bedroom lighting picture
There are a lot of lighting options for the bedroom. It is better to have as many lamps and sconces as possible, but the general light (especially the upper one) should not irritate and cut your eyes. The best is the illusion of light emanating from "nowhere", but this, of course, is hard to achieve.
It is not recommended to use dominant open sources of light. It is inappropriate for a number of reasons. They create deep shadows, thereby blurring the picture of your bedroom. There must be a warm, cozy atmosphere, which is why bulbs without lampshades are not suitable here.
And without the chandelier, the lighting in the bedroom should be bright enough, but not cutting. Matt lamps under the ceiling in the form of hemispheres or balls will help you create a soft diffusing light, peculiarly reflected from the ceiling, floor and walls.
Also hidden lights can help in this. For example, built-in beds, skirting boards, window sills, cornices. The hidden sources of scattering light do not accentuate anything in the bedroom, they do not create shadow spots. Thanks to them, one gets an illusion of airiness, weightlessness of space, even to some degree of transparency. It is in such a completely non-irritating atmosphere that it rests so well and, at last, perfectly sleeps.
Types of lighting
From the types of fixtures much depends. Ordinary classical light bulbs do not last long, give off tons of heat, consume a lot of electricity. Fluorescent lamps give a smooth and dim light. But for the lighting of the bedroom, we would not recommend such lamps from the banal considerations - the feeling develops, as if you are in the office.
But halogen energy-saving lighting methods - this is a shot right at the target. Such lamps are absolutely safe, very durable, durable and economical in electricity consumption. You can combine any composition with their help. They can be placed everywhere (even on the ceiling, even under the bed, even in the niches of walls), however, the reflected rays will not cut your eyes.
If desired, you can also create lighting suspended ceilings in the bedroom with an LED strip . An interesting variant is that when switching off the main lighting, there is absolutely no light bulb or light source, and when turned on, the ceiling glows. The LED tape is controlled by a special remote control, which is very, very convenient. Such ceiling lighting in your bedroom will create a refined and rich atmosphere. Tapes can be of different colors, directly to your taste.
A small sconce at the head of the bed, or a small table lamp on the bedside table will not damage a single bedroom, whatever the interior.
Dressing table and wardrobe with clothes (some "women's territory") also needs good lighting. The original lamp in an intricate flower shape or a stylish floor lamp with a curved leg will be the original way out.
