Today, the main task for Masha is the development of its own brand Masha Tsigal.

The creative path of Masha Tsigal

Masha Tsigal entered the world of fashion in the early 90's, and then got acquainted with many influential and famous people. The debut collection of the designer was clothes made of records called "Let's be like the sun", created with the help of Andrei Bartenev, showman and designer. The performance was shown at the Hermitage club, and the very next morning an article appeared on him, which occupied the front page of Kommersant.

After such an excellent beginning, Masha with her collection went to Riga, where she won a prize among young fashion designers from the famous designer Paco Rabanne. Then she got a job as a stylist in clips from Gregory of Constantinople and Yegor Konchalovsky. And after a while she released her second, half avant-garde, half-wearable collection called Place Tsigal. After the successful presentation of the Bloody Mary collection, developed in support of the Smirnoff brand advertising campaign in London at the Alternative Fashion Week, Masha Tsigal received a grant to study in the UK. She entered the London College of Fashion and was educated in fashion marketing. And already on her return to Moscow, Masha, in the role of designer-participant of Fashion Week, demonstrated her next collection Forever Love.

Masha Tsigal, it is necessary to give credit, quickly entered into the taste of the new role of a successful fashion designer. The profession became for her not only a favorite craft, but also a very not unsuccessful enterprise. Then for the first time the trademark Masha Tsigal was born. One of the most significant achievements, according to Masha, is that she personally met with Whitney Houston. A world-famous singer bought five young suits from a young Russian designer and was delighted with her unusual and refined ideas.

After another collection called "A", Masha tried herself in a new role. She developed a clothing line for children and named her Wonderland. After that, it began its successful cooperation with various well-known brands, and in Moscow the first boutique of Masha Tsigal appeared.

Masha Tsigal continues to work diligently, creating all the new masterpieces in the fashion world. The latest at the moment is the spring-summer 2013 collection, which was shown in the framework of the Volvo Fashion Week.

Spring-Summer 2013 collection

The main direction of the collection spring-summer 2013 from Masha Tsigal became cruise clothes and unusual prints, made for both girls and boys. The creation of this collection was inspired by the story of her own family. Masha also had to turn to the history of painting of the Soviet period in her work. For her spring clothes designer took the image of a Soviet woman from a poster, which her grandmother had come up with. And yet, the main place in it was taken by pretty cotton prints with a printed pattern in a small flower, which belongs to all the same Soviet times. Not without incident, however, and without the turn-down collars - the main trend of this season.

The women's collection was represented by dresses, bathing suits, t-shirts, tunics and shorts. Some of the outfits featured an interesting black and white graphic print and was made of cotton. The other part was represented by elegant floral images - red small flowers made of silk.

In the men's part of the collection, the prints completely coincided with the women's prints. Graphic and floral - they appeared on stylish T-shirts and shirts. You could see an unusual combination of both, not only with trousers, but also with shorts and swimming trunks. All the images were expertly supplemented with voluminous backpacks and various accessories. The color palette and pastoral style of the entire collection reminded the public of the approaching warmth and sunny summer, which was an excellent gift on these winter cold days.
