Nina and Donis - creative design couple, which has been controlling the minds of mods for 13 years. They are considered uncompromising and demanding, mysterious and unordinary fashion designers.
The history of the brand Nina Donis
Nina Neretina was born in Voronezh in 1967. Since childhood, the girl was fond of drawing. Therefore, first she graduated from art school, and then the school. Parents actively supported her daughter in her aspirations for art, and continued her artistic training at the Moscow Textile Academy. There she met Donis Pupis (born in 1968), who was from Cyprus. He, unlike Nina, went against the parents-doctors in his passion for creativity.
Together with Galina Smirnskaya, they released the first collection, which they presented at the Albo Fashion contest, and where they received two prizes.
Designers Nina and Donis founded their eponymous brand in 2000. The designer couple immediately tried their forces abroad. Their first collection was called Pompon. It included berets and hats with pompons, as well as jeans clothes. Then the brand released the collection "Jura", which was dedicated to Yuri Gagarin. Military-sports style was traced in both collections.
In the London Fashion Exhibition trade show, they took part in the London Fashion Week for several years in a row. Their names are included in the list of 150 most successful designers of our days according to the rating of the magazine iD. In Milan, they demonstrated their clothes in two showrooms. Their duet in March 2003 received the "Designer of the Year" award from GQ magazine (Russia).
At the fall-winter show 2005-2006 at the London Fashion Week, they were compared to Martin Margel and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
In 2008, the brand produced a stunning collection, symbolized by a red rose.

The new collection of spring-summer 2013 is so diverse that some models can be compared with the wardrobe of Elizabeth II, and others - with work clothes stained with paint for walls. Uniform boring colors are diluted with contrasting inserts. Things are comfortable and practical, and at the same time elegant and solemn. Basically - it's a popular casual style.
