Laurel oil is obtained from the fruit of the tree Tamanu, which grows on the shores of the Pacific and Indian oceans. This tree is also called the Alexandrian laurel, which for some southern tribes has a sacred meaning: from its bark construct various sculptures for rituals.

However, the laurel essential oil has not only symbolic importance, but also practical, because it is widely used in medicine due to its medicinal qualities.

Almost unique makes the composition of the oil the presence of immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory agents and calophyllic acid - these substances help the microcracks and wounds to be quickly tightened, and the intact skin is given an enhanced renewal, as they stimulate the skin cells.
  3. Enrichment beneficial for the skin with vitamin E makes the oil almost universal in cosmetology, because it can be used instead of a night face cream. It is recommended to apply it not systematically, but after certain procedures, when the skin develops redness: for example, after a recent face cleansing or steaming.

Based on the composition of the oil, we can say that in the first place it should be used as an anti-inflammatory agent. For the same purpose, taman oil is used to care for oily skin prone to acne .

Thanks to the fact that the oil improves blood circulation, it rejuvenates all the skin of the face, since it brings with blood the nutrients necessary for the beauty and elasticity of the skin.

This oil can be applied to the face not in a clean, but in a diluted form: for example, by mixing it with clay and applying a mask. Especially such a tool is useful for flabby dry skin, prone to fine wrinkles. The mask will tighten the face oval and at the same time will nourish the skin with useful substances.

In case of propensity to allergic reactions before full use, the oil should be applied to a small area of ​​the skin and wait about 30 minutes to test the reaction.
