Due to the fact that the mountains here are much higher than the average height of the Alps , the Caucasus or the Carpathians, and the snow lies from October to the end of April, there are a lot of places in which to ski. Branas

Vemdalen
It is located in the north-west of the country, 480 km from Stockholm. It includes 53 tracks, the longest of which is 2200 m. It will be interesting to go for a ride to both professionals and beginners, because depending on the level of difficulty, Vemdalen is divided into 3 zones: Björnrike (for beginners and children), Vemdalskalet (for professionals) and Klövschö Storhogna (for all). Aure
It is one of the most popular places for ski holidays in Sweden. It consists of 103 routes of different levels of complexity, which are serviced by 46 lifts. It will be interesting for fans of different types of winter sports. Salen
The second most popular and size ski resort, located in the region of Dalarna. Perfect for families and "medium" skiers. In total there are 108 trails. Selen is divided into four zones: Lindvallen, Högfjellet, Tandodalen and Hundfjellet.
Ternaby-Hemavan
A choice for fans of extreme sports and professionals. All the tracks that are available here, and this is over 30, are divided into 2 resorts: Ternaby and Hemavan. Due to the active nightlife, Ternaby is very popular with young people, and the second (Hemavan) is for professional skiers and snowboarders.
