Festering atheroma is a knot that appears under the skin. Initially, it is a capsule with fat - fat. Sometimes the procedure takes place several times during two months:

  1. The top layer of the skin is cut to remove the inner contents. This removes inflammation and pain.
  2. General excision is a surgical operation. It is used on an ongoing basis only when there is no infection. The procedure involves removing the cyst and the nearest tissue, which creates a certain defect of a larger size than the problem itself. Stitches are applied, which are removed after two weeks.
  3. Removal through a puncture. It is most often used to combat festering atheromas of the face.
  4. Minimal excision. Implies the creation of a five-millimeter cut through which the problem is removed by parts. At the same time, there is no scarring or stitches.
  5. Laser removal. This method involves the use of appropriate techniques. Such operations cost commensurately large financial resources. At the same time, they have a minimal percentage of relapse.
