The blond sportswoman got a small role in the adventure film "Miss 8 Ocean Girlfriends". According to Maria, her episode is very tiny, but the newly-made actress hopes that he will end up in the final version of the picture, especially since the name Sharapova seems to be already present in the credits.
That's what the tennis player told about an unusual experience:
"I can not call myself a full-fledged actress, because my role is so small that it may even be cut out. The cinema is such a sphere that even at the end of the filming you can not be sure that your episodes will fall into the director's cut.
