The work of the root system of orchids is a very unusual and interesting phenomenon. The roots take a very active part in the process of photosynthesis, and if you see that they are painted in green-emerald color, this means that they have the optimum amount of moisture for life. When they acquire a gray tinge, this indicates the need for additional moisture.
To control these changes in color, it is recommended to keep orchids in clear plastic pots. Otherwise, you risk oversaturating the plant with moisture, and excessive watering, as is known, will cause the roots of the orchids to come out of the pot.
What if the orchid roots got out of the pot and stick out?
If a flower has several "air" roots, this is not a problem or a sign of ill health. In principle, this phenomenon is quite normal. To think is only about why the orchids from the pot are lured by all the new roots.
